6 C.M. Jesus comes, and through the sky Angels tell their joy aloud. Sounds abroad o'er sea and land : Their redemption is at hand. Heaven and earth before Him fly. Rise to meet Him in the sky: Where no foe can e'er molest; Ever blessing, ever blest. 341 • Every Eye shall see Him.' 1 AND must we see that solemn day, And rise to view His face, And earth obtain no place ? In all His majesty ; As when He came to die. Who here His grace possessed, • Ye blessed of My Father, come To My eternal rest.' 4 But those who never sought His face Will hear the awful sound, ' Depart, ye cursed, to the place Where hope is never found.' 5 The righteous then will sweetly know Salvation's of the Lord ; That death is sin's reward. 342 The Day of Judgment. 8.7.4. (Isa. X. 3.) Who still your mad career pursue ; And comes in wrath, what will ye do? 2 Say, have you made this world your choice? Is this the all you have in view ? • In that dread day what will ye do ?' 3 Ah! see this most tremendous day Of visitation hastes to you ; ye do? Without a heart made clean and new, And in that day what will ye do? And bring your sins to sad review; And in that day what will ye do? 344 Day of Judgment. 1 And will the Judge descend ? And must the dead arise? His all-discerning eyes ? The terrors of that day, Astonished, shrink away ? S.M. 3 But, ere that trumpet shakes The mansions of the dead, What joyfuị tidings spread ! Whose wrath they cannot bear, Fly to the shelter of His cross, And find salvation there. 345 8.7. 1 YE that die without repentance, Ye must rise when Christ appears, While the saints rejoice in theirs : They with Jesus Christ to reign ; OPENING SCHOOL. 346 Prayer for the School. S.M. 1 SHINE on our Sabbath school, Thou God of mercy, shine ! The hand that gives is Thine. Do Thou their labours own ; From Thee, and Thee alone. O may Thy grace impart To each a mind to understand, And a believing heart ! Nor let Thy favour cease ; And all Thy paths are peace. C.M. 1 ONCE more we keep the sacred day That saw the Saviour rise ; To Him that rules the skies. That are to Jesus due ! And how they perish too ! And thus far led us on, To know and love His Son !
