Revive Thy churches with Thy grace,
Rouse us from sloth, our hearts inflame
With ardent zeal for Jesus' name. May young and old Thy word receive ; Dead sinners hear Thy voice and live;
The wounded conscience healing find,
And joy refresh each drooping mind.

While all their glowing souls are borne

Each pressing on with zeal to be
Thy mighty arm make bare ;
Disturb this sleep of death;
By Thine Almighty breath. 3 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Create soul-thirst for Thee;
O may our spirits be!
Exalt Thy precious name;

And give refreshing showers;
PRAYER FOR INCREASE OF
Thy needy servants' cry;
And all our wants supply.
The labourers are few. Raise up and send forth more Into Thy church abroad; nd let them speak Thy word with power, , As workers with their God. Give the pure gospel word, The word of general grace ; ee let them preach, the common Lord, The Saviour of our race. þ let them spread Thy name; Cheir mission fully prove; y universal grace proclaim, "hine all-embracing love!
INATION AND RECOGNITION OF MINISTERS.
L.M. ATHER of mercies ! bow Thine ear,
Attentive to our earnest prayer; e plead for those who plead for Thee ; ccessful pleaders may they be !
2 Clothe, Thou, with energy divine Their words, and let those words be Thine;
To them Thy sacred truth reveal,
Suppress their fear, inflame their zeal. 3 Teach them to sow the precious seed, Teach them Thy chosen flock to feed;
Teach them immortal souls to gain,
Nor let them labour, Lord, in vain.
In humble strains Thy grace adore,
And take the alarm they give;
Their solemn charge receive.
The pastor's care demands;
And filled a Saviour's hands. 3 All to the great tribunal haste,
The account to render there ; Andshouldst Thou strictly mark our faults,
Lord, how should we appear? 4 May they, that Jesus whom they preachi.
Their own Redeemer see !
With the great harvest of the world ! Soldier, seek tliou the thickest fight,
Thy Captain's standard is unfurled. vise to win souls, exhort, reprove,
And watch the flock redeemed by blood; Varn with thy tears, preach in deep love
The gospel of the grace of God. l'oil on in the appointed way,
The precious fruit shall soon appear ; Vork thou thy work whilst it is day :
The shadows lengthen, night is near. oon shalt thou hear the Master's voice, The welcome cry, ‘Behold I come !' ithin the pearly gates rejoice, And rest thee in thy heavenly home.
