3. What constituent of the blood is mainly concerned in the conveyance of oxygen from the lungs to the tissues? Describe as fully as you can how this conveyance is effected.

4. What are the principal circumstances which influence the excretion of urea ?

5. In a nerve at rest, an electrical current is observed to circulate. What is the direction of the current, and how is its strength affected when the nerve is thrown into activity?

3. Describe the course of the External Jugular Vein. Mention the structures to which it is related, and the situation of its valves.
