The compiler would willingly have extended the plan of this humble work, by suggesting desirable improvements in Designs for Grave-stones, Tablets, and more ambitious Tombs, which are too frequently disfigured by heathen symbols, and other marks of bad taste; but he must be content with pointing out the expediency of such a work to others competent to the task.
