Edward Richbell, Stanhop Mill, Lawrence Stanyan, John Gurney and Thomas Sheridan, to be paid and performed; and for divers other good causes and confiderations, his majesty thereunto especially moving, his majesty hath by and with the advice of the right honourable Thomas earl of Danby lord high treasurer of England, Arthur earl of Effex lord lieutenant of Ireland, and divers others of his majesties most honourable privy council, of England and Ireland, and of his especial grace, certain knowledge, and meer motion demifed and granted, and to farm-let: and by these prefents, his ma jefty for himfelf, his heires and fucceffours, doth demife, grant and to farm-let unto the faid fir James Shaen, William Hill, William Ryder, Thomas Hoare, Francis Sone, William Mufchamp, Edward Richbell, Stanhop Mill, Lawrence Stanyan, John Gurney and Thomas Sheridan, all those rates, charges, duties and impofitions, payments, and fummes of money due and payable to his majesty by such person or perfons, who at any time after the feaft of the nativity of our Lord Chrift now laft paft, during the term hereafter mentioned, shall have lycence Wine and to utter and fell by way of retayl, in their refpec- ftrong wa tive houses, within the faid kingdom of Ireland, any wine, aquavitæ, ufquebagh, brandy, balkan

or any kind of diftilled ftrong-waters or fpirits, and all other duties and fummes of money, which by virtue of the late act of parliament paffed in Ireland, entituled, "An act for the "better ordering the felling of wines and aqua"vitæ, together with all forts of strong-waters, "by retayl or otherwife howfoever," shall come, or may at any time, from and after the said feast of the nativity of our Lord now last past, unto the feaft of the nativity of our Lord which shall be in the year of our Lord 1682 inclusive, grow due, and be renewed, or from time to time, during the term aforefaid, ought to become due and payable, and are appointed to be paid unto his majesty, his heirs and fucceffours, or to any of them, and all the powers, liberties, priviledges, duties, fees, benefits and advantages of the faid act, unto his majefty any wayes belonging or appertaining, and which he can, or may lawfully grant.

And also all cuftomes, fubfidies and impofi dies of ton- tions, fumme and fummes of money, taken of known by the names or in lieu of customes, subfidies and impofitions, payments, duties and fummes of money, and all manner of fubfidies of tonnage and poundage, now or heretofore taken or known by the name of tonnage or poundage, and all other fubfidies and impofts, fummes

fummes of money, rights, payments and du ties, which at any time or times, from and after the said feast of the nativity of our Lord Christ now last past, unto the feaft of the nativity of our Lord Chrift, which fhall be in the said year of our Lord Chrift 1682 inclusive, fhall, may or ought to happen, come, arife, grow, renew, be due or payable, or appointed to be paid, to our foveraign lord the king, his heyres and fucceffours, or to any of them, by the late act of parliament paffed in Ireland, entituled, "An act "for fettling the fubfidy of poundage, and "granting a fubfidy of tonnage, and other "summes of money, unto his royal majesty, his heyres and fucceffours, the fame to be paid

And moreover our faid foveraign Lord the king, for him, his heyres and fucceffours, doth grant and agree, to and with the faid fir James Shaen, William Hill, William Ryder, Thomas Hoare, Francis Sone, William Muschamp, Edward Richbell, Stanhop Mill, Lawrence Stanyan, John Gurney and Thomas Sheridan, their executors, adminiftrators and affigns, by thefe presents that the faid fir John Shaen, William Hill, William Ryder, Thomas Hoare, Francis Sone, William Mufchamp, Edward Richbell, Stanhop Mill, Lawrence Stanyan, John Gurney and Thomas Sheridan, their executors, adminiftrators and affigns, fhall have, take and enjoy to Duties ari- their own proper ufes and behoofs, all and all manner of customes, fubfidies and impofts, or by ships of fummes of money, duties or payments, commonly called, known or payable, as or in lieu of cuftomes, fubfidies and impofts, or any of them: and for all goods, wares and merchandizes whatfoever, which at any time or times, between the feaft of the nativity of our Lord God now laft paft, and the feaft of the nativity of our Lord God which fhall be in the year of our Lord 1682 inclufive, fhall be brought into the said realm of Ireland,

Ireland, in or by any of the ships or fleets of his majefty, his heyrs or fucceffours, or any other fhips or veffels imployed, or to be imployed in the service of his majefty, his heyres or fucceffours; or by the ships or veffels of any other, by authority from, or under his majesty, his heyres or fucceffours, by letters of mart, or by any other ways whatsoever; or for pyrates goods, or goods and pyrates. taken from pyrates or enemies, which by any means, within the time or term aforesaid, shall come into the faid realm of Ireland; as if the fame wares, merchandizes and goods, or any of them, had been brought into Ireland by way of merchandize. And for or upon, all or any goods, wares or merchandizes whatfoever, as well exported as imported, or which shall become forfeited to his majefty, his heyres or fucceffours, by virtue of, and according to the late act of parliament paffed in England, entituled, "An "act for the encouraging and encreasing of

shipping and navigation, or any the powers or "claufes therein contained, with all the powers, "liberties, priviledges, benefits, profits and ad<< vantages of the said several, or any other acts "concerning customes or fubfidies of tonnage "or poundage, to his majesty belonging or ap"pertaining, or which he can or may lawful "grant."
