4. State the doctrine of Equity as to a married woman's power of disposing of her separate estate by a testamentary appointment, and as to the devolution of her separate estate undisposed of at the time of her death.

5. State the origin of the jurisdiction and procedure of Courts of Equity as to "Injunctions," and the classes of cases in which this power of the Court of Chancery is usually exercised. Explain what is an "equitable defence" to an action in a Common Law Court.

A devises his real estate to trustees upon trust to sell, and out of the proceeds thereof to pay to B the sum of £10,000; his will contains no disposition of his residuary real estate; his real estate is sold by trustees for £15,000.
