That in order to encourage benefactions from others, and thereby the sooner to complete the good that was intended by our Bounty, the Governors may give the said sum of two hundred pounds to Cures not exceeding five and thirty pounds per annum, where any persons will give the same or greater sum or value in lands or tithes.

17. Lastly, We do hereby, for us, our heirs and successors, grant that Omissions, these our Letters Patents, or the enrolment thereof, shall be in and invalidate by all things good, firm, valid, sufficient, and effectual in the law, notwithstanding the not reciting or not truly or fully reciting the said Letters Patents of Incorporation, or the date thereof, or any other omission, imperfection, defect, matter, cause, or thing whatsoever, to the contrary thereof, in anywise notwithstanding.

Rules and Orders under the Royal Sign Manual, subsequent to the Second Charter.

In pursuance of the powers reserved to her Majesty Queen Anne her heirs and successors by the second Charter to the Governors of her Royal Bounty and under the authority of the statute 1 Geo. I. c. 10. s. 3. the Orders and Rules prescribed by that Charter have from time to time been altered and others have been given and made under the Royal Sign Manual as follows:

The 4th and 9th Rules were altered by the following Rules under the Royal Sign Manual :

"That in order to encourage Benefactions from others, and there[Repealed by the sooner to complete the good that was intended by our Bounty, the Governors may join with Benefactors in augmenting any Living not exceeding £50 per annum, where any persons shall give the same or greater sum or value in lands or tithes."
