and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Land, being Part of a Close or Field called Chimney Field, with the Westward Farm Yard thereto adjoining and belonging, containing by Admeasurement Eight Acres Three Roods and Thirty five Perches or thereabouts; and also all those Three small Cottages erected on the said last mentioned Piece or Parcel of Land, and now in the several Occupations of Thomas Penn, Jeremiah Miles and John Price; and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Land called Conduit Field, containing by Admeasurement Four Acres Two Roods and Thirty seven Perches or thereabouts; and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Land, containing by Admeasurement Two Roods and Eighteen Perches or thereabouts, being Part and Parcel of a Close or Field called Little Heath Field; and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Land called The Eastward Farm Yard, with the Stables and Buildings thereon erected, containing by Admeasurement One Rood and Eleven Perches or thereabouts; and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Land called The Stack Yard, containing by Admeasurement Two Roods and Nineteen Perches or thereabouts; and also all that small Piece or Parcel of Garden Ground in the Occupation of Thomas Penn, containing by Admeasurement Twenty four Perches or thereabouts; and also all that other small Piece or Parcel of Garden Ground in the Occupation of Jeremiah Miles, containing by Admeasurement Seventeen Perches or thereabouts; all which said several Pieces or Parcels of Land hereinbefore mentioned, are in the Tenure and Occupation of Samuel Hardin; and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Garden Ground in the Tenure and Occupation of Joseph Wellard, containing by Admeasurement Two Roods and Thirty seven Perches or thereabouts; and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Garden and other Ground, with the Two Messuages or Tenements thereon erected and built, in the Tenure and Occupation of Alexander Bryson, containing by Admeasurement One Rood and Sixteen Perches or thereabouts; and also all that triangular Piece or Parcel of Land, being Part and Parcel of a Close or Field called Mulgrave Place Field, in the Tenure and Occupation of the said Joseph Wellard, and containing by Admeasurement Three Roods and One Perch or thereabouts; and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Land, being Part and Parcel of a Close or Field called Rush Grove, with the Two Cottages thereon erected and built; and also a small quadrangular Piece or Parcel of Ground, situate at the South East Corner of the Eastward Farm Yard hereinbefore mentioned, in the Tenure and Occupation of Henry Rideout, containing by Admeasurement Three Roods and Twenty Perches or thereabouts; all which said several Pieces or Parcels of Land, Messuages or Tenements, Cottages and Gardens hereinbefore mentioned, are the Property of John Bowater Esquire, and are abutted and bounded as follows; (that is to say,) on the South by Lands particularly mentioned and described in the said Act, made in the last Session of Parliament, and now called or known by the several Names of the Old Barrack Field and the New Barrack Field, and on the West and North by other Lands of the said John Bowater, from which the same have been lately separated or marked off by Pickets, and terminating in a Point at the East End in Love Lane; and also all that other Piece or Parcel of Land, being Part of the Waste or Common

Common Lands of the Manor of Charlton called Little Heath, containing in Length from the Stile at the North West Corner of Little Heath Field, and from thence proceeding in the Course of the present Footpath there, to the public Highway leading from Charlton to Woolwich Common, along the North Side of Lady Wilson's Park Wall, Four hundred and seventy Yards or thereabouts, and in Width Thirty Feet or thereabouts; and which said Piece or Parcel of Land lastly above described, it is intended to convert into a public Carriage Road leading from Woolwich to Charlton; and also all that Piece of Waste Land, containing by Estimation Eighty Acres or thereabouts (be the same more or less), commonly called Woolwich Common, situate in the Parish of Woolwich in the said County of Kent; and all the Estates, Rights and Interests, Claims and Demands whatsoever, of any Person or Persons in, upon, over or out of the same (other than and except the Estate, Right and Interest of His Majesty, his Heirs and Successors, of, in and to the same Piece of Waste Land; and also except all Messuages, Tenements, Edifices, Buildings, Yards, Gardens and Inclosures whatsoever, now erected, built or made upon or from the same; and also except all ancient and accustomed Highways, Roads, Paths and Passages upon or over the same); all which said Piece of Waste Land called Woolwich Common is Parcel of the Waste Lands of the Manor of Eltham, which Manor is now held by Sir John Gregory Shaw Baronet, under a Lease from the Crown, for a Term of Years, which will expire in or about the Year One thousand eight hundred and ten; and which said Piece of Waste Land (except the said Messuages, Tenements, Edifices, Buildings, Yards, Gardens and Inclosures, and all Timber and other Trees; and also except all Common of Pasture and Turbary, and other Common Rights and Privileges thereon of and belonging to the said Sir John Shaw, and the Freehold Tenants and other Persons of or within the said Manor of Eltham; and all such Highways, Roads, Paths and Passages as aforesaid, and also except all Courts Leet and Baron, Perquisites and Profits of Courts, Waifs, Estrays, Deodands, Goods and Chattels of Felons, Fugitives and Outlaws, Estovers and Commons of Estovers, Free Warren, and all other the Manorial Rights, Jurisdictions, Franchises, Liberties and Advantages whatsoever, belonging to the said Sir John Shaw, as Lord of the said Manor), was by Indenture of Lease, bearing Date the Twenty ninth Day of September One thousand eight hundred and one, demised by the said Sir John Shaw to the principal Officers of His Majesty's Ordnance, in Trust for the Use of His Majesty, his Heirs and Successors, from Michaelmas then last, for the Term of Seven Years, at and under the yearly Rent of Twenty one Pounds, and under and subject to certain Covenants and Restrictions therein contained, shall be, and the same are hereby vested in the said Charles Abbot, Sir Edward Knatchbull, and Filmer Honeywood, and their Heirs, in Trust nevertheless for such Person or Persons as, at or immediately before the Time of making this Act, were the several and respective Owners thereof, or had any Rights or Interests therein, according to their several Estates, Rights and Interests, in Possession, Reversion, Remainder or otherwise, until such Estates, Rights and Interests shall be respectively adjudged or determined, and until

On Payment of the Purchase Money agreed for or assessed, Premises shall

vest in the Trustees for

the Purchase Monies for the same, that shall be agreed upon or assessed as the true Value thereof shall be paid; and that the said Purchase Monies shall be paid and applied to such and the same Uses, Intents and Purposes, as the said Estates, Rights and Interests so vested in the abovementioned Trustees, were limited and settled previous to the passing of this Act, so far as the Rules of Law will allow thereof; and that in the meantime the Rents and Profits of the said Lands and Hereditaments shall be paid and applied by the said Trustees to, and all such Rights and Interests as aforesaid shall be held and enjoyed by, such Person or Persons as were entitled to have, receive, hold and enjoy the same respectively, and in such Proportions, Manner and Form as the same were payable, and were held and enjoyed, previous to the passing of this Act.

II. And be it further enacted, That, immediately from and after the Time that Payment shall be made of the Sum and Sums of Money to be agreed for or assessed, and which shall be decreed and adjudged to the Owners and Proprietors of, and Persons interested in the Lands and Hereditaments vested by, and to be purchased in pursuance of this Act or any of them, the Trustees hereinbefore the Use of His mentioned and their Heirs, shall be deemed and adjudged to stand Majesty. seised of the said Premises respectively, to and for the Use of His Majesty, His Heirs and Successors, for ever, freed and discharged of and from all and all manner of Estates, Leases, Rights, Titles, Interests, Claims and Demands whatsoever, which can or may be had, made or set up, into, out of or upon, or in respect of the same Lands and Hereditaments, by any Bodies Politic or Corporate, Ecclesiastical or Civil, or any Person or Persons whomsoever, on any Account whatever.

III. Provided always, and be it further enacted, That no ancient and accustomed Highways, Roads, Paths or Passages, in, over or upon the said Lande vested by, and to be purchased in pursuance of this Act, shall be stopped up, altered or diverted, other than and except in such manner as the same respectively might by Law have been stopped up, altered and diverted in case this Act had not been passed. IV. And be it further enacted, That it shall and may be lawful appointed under for His Majesty, in and by any Commission or Commissions which recited Act may shall or may be granted by His Majesty in pursuance of the said recited Act, to authorize and direct that the Commissioners to be therein named, or any Five or more of them, shall and may hear and determine all Titles, Rights, Claims and Interests which shall or may be made to, upon, over or out of, as well the Lands and Hereditaments intended to be purchased by virtue of this Act, or any Part or Parcel thereof, as those which shall or may be purchased by virtue of the said recited Act; and the said Commissioners so to be appointed as aforesaid, or any Five or more of them, shall and may in all Things act in the Execution of this Act, as fully and effectually, to all Intents, Constructions and Purposes, as they can or may act in the Execution of the said recited Act; and all and every the Powers, Provisions, Regulations and Clauses in the said recited Act contained, shall, in the Execution of this Act, be used and applied, extended and construed, in like manner, in all respects, as if the same respectively had been repeated and specially enacted in this Act.
