The Gospel. St Luke x. I. THE Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them
I two and two before his face into every city and place whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Go your ways, behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor fcrip, nor shoes, and Salute no man by the way. And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it : if not, it shall turn to you again. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire.

The Epiftle. St Jude i. JUDE che servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James,
to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and prelerved in Jesus Christ, and called : Mercy unto you, and peace, and love be mulciplied. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you, that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once deliVered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnacion ; ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousnets, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afcerward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first eftate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them, in like manner giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange fieth, are set forth for an example, suffering che vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the Aesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
The Gospel. Si John xv. 17. THESE things I command you, that ye love one ano
I ther. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore che world hatech you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The fervant is not greater than the Lord: if they have persecuted me, they will also perfecute you; if they have kept my Saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my names sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had fin: but now they have no cloke for their fin. He chat hatech me, hateth iny Father also. If I had
not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had fin; but now have they boch seen, and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pafs,' that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I send unto you, from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedech from the Father, he shall testify of me. And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. . .

For the Epistle. Rev. vii. 2. A ND I saw another angel ascending from the cast, A having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth, and the fea, saying; Hurt not the earth, neicher che sea, nor the trees, cill we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed ; and there were sealed an hundred and

Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand.
After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and congues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands :. and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God, which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the clders, and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, saying, Amen; Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
The Gospel. St Matth. v. 1. TESUS seeing the multitudes, went up into a moun. J tain; and when he was set, his disciples came unto him. And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn : for they Thall be comforted. Blessed are the meek : for they shall inherir the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness : for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful : for they shall obtain mergy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they fall fee. God. Blessed are the peaceI i

Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and perfecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you fally for my fake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven : for fo persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
