Ν To IN pursuance of an Act of the 39th of His prefent Majefty, intituled, "An Act to repeal the Duties impofed by an Act, made in the last "Seffion of Parliament, for granting an Aid and Contribution for the «Prosecution of the War; and to make more effectual Provifion for the "like Purpose, by granting certain Duties upon Income, in lieu of the "faid Duties," you are hereby required to prepare and deliver a List in Writing, containing the proper Name of every Lodger, Inmate, and other Perfon (except Servants and Infants not having any* Income chargeable by the Act), refident in your Dwelling-house: And you are alfo required to make out a Liit containing the proper Name of every Perfon not refident in Great Britain, and of every Infant, Idiot, Lunatic, and married Woman, who fhall have or be entitled to any Income chargeable by this Act, and of every other perfon having any Income, which you shall be in the Receipt of as Trustee, Agent, Receiver, Guardian, Tutor, Curator, or Committee, or in any other Character either feparately or jointly with any other Perfon or Perfons; and if jointly with any other Perfon or Perfons, then the Names of every fuch other Perfon or Perfons must be inserted in the faid Lift: and And you are also at the fame Time required to make out and deliver a Statement in Writing of the Sum which you mean to pay under the faid Act as your Contribution, according to one of the Forms at the Back hereof, not being less than One Tenth of your Annual Income, eftimated according to the Provifions of the said Act, if the fame shall amount to 200l. or upwards, and if the fame fhall be less than zool. then according to the Proportions contained in the Scale hereto annexed; alfo a like Statement in Writing of the Sum which you mean to contribute for and on Behalf of fuch other Perfon or Perfons as aforefaid, a being not lefs than the juft Rate and Proportion of the Annual Income of fuch other Períon or Perfons chargeable by Virtue of the faid A&t; which Lifts and Statements, or fuch of them as fhall be applicable to your Cafe, first being properly filled up and figned by yourself, you shall deliver, or caufe to be delivered to me, at my Dwelling-house, fituate at within Fourteen Days from the Date hereof; and if you refufe or neglect to deliver the faid Lifts or Statements herein-before mentioned, or either of them, you will incur, for every fuch Offence, a Penalty not exceed. ing zol. over and above the Amount with which you ought to have been charged, if fuch Statement had been properly made out and delivered, Dated at this Day of Affeffor * Perfons having an Income under 60l. per Annum not chargeable.- Ircome of any married Woman, living with her Hafband, to be stated and accounted for by the Husband. I do declare, That my Income, eftimated according to the Directions and Rules of an Act paffed in the 39th Year of the Reign of His prefent Majelty, intituled, "An Act to repeal the Duties impofed by an Act made in the laft Seffion of Parliament, for granting an Aid and Contribution "for the Profecution of the War; and to make more effectual Provision "for the like Purpose, by granting certain Duties upon Income, in lieu "of the faid Duties," doth not amount to the Sum of Sixty Pounds per Annum. Dated this day of Signed, No. VII. Where the Income amounts to 6ol. per Annum, and is under 2001. I do declare, That my Income, eftimated according to the Directions and Rules of an Act paffed in the 39th Year of the Reign of His prefent Majefty, intituled, "An Act to repeal the Duties impofed by an Act "made in the laft Seffion of Parliament, for granting an Aid and Con"tribution for the Profecution of the War; and to make more effectual Provifion for the like Purpose, by granting certain Duties upon «Income, in lieu of the faid Duties," doth not exceed the fum of and that I am willing to pay the Sum of for my Contribution for one Year, from the 5th Day of April 1799, tổ the 5th Day of April 1800, the fame being not lefs than One Part of my Income estimated as aforefaid, to be paid according to the Directions of the faid A&. Dated day of Signed, In this, and in all cafes in which an abatement is intended to be claimed for a child or children, the following words fhall be added, “subject to the abatement claimed by me on account of a child or children by virtue of the faid Act. No. VIII. Where the Income amounts to 2001, and upwards. I do declare, That I am willing to pay the Sum of for my.
