He did these great miracles to show to the world that He is God, so that we might believe in Him and know that He is God, the Saviour of the world.

While He was on earth He founded the Holy Catholic Church upon a rock to last to the end of time.

He was given over to His enemies to be put to death. He was nailed to the Cross and died to save men from sin. While He was on the Cross He prayed for His enemies, and asked His Father to forgive them because they knew not what they did.

He died upon the Cross for love of us. After our dear Lord had died, His Body was taken down from the Cross and laid in the tomb. There it rested until the third day. In the

morning of the third day our Saviour came from the tomb and was seen many times.

Then He left the earth and went to Heaven.

These are some of the words of Jesus:

"I am the bread of life."

"I am the living bread which came down from heaven."

"If any man shall eat this bread he shall live forever."

“Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come to Me: for the kingdom of heaven is for such."

"He that shall receive one such little child in My name, receiveth Me."

Matt. xviii. 5.

"See that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, that their Angels in heaven always see the face of My Father who is in heaven."

Matt. xviii. 10.
