Moft gracious Sovereign,

WE E, your Majefty's most dutiful and loyal fubjects, the com

II. And whereas, pursuant to, and upon the terms and conditions expreffed in the faid refolution, feveral perfons have, in books opened at the bank of England for that purpose, fubfcribed together the whole of the faid fum of eighteen millions to be raised by annuities, and made depofits of ten pounds per centumn on the respective fums by them fo fubfcribed to the faid fum of eighteen millions to be raised by annuities, with the cafiers of the governor and company of the bank of England; be it therefore enacted, That it fhall and may be lawful to and for Contributors fuch contributors who have made fuch depofits with the cafhier who have made depofits or cahiers of the governor and company of the bank of England, at the bank (which cafhier or cafhiers is and are hereby appointed the re- may pay the ceiver and receivers of fuch contributions, without any other remainder of warrant to be had in that behalf), to advance and pay unto the their fubfcriptions by inftalfaid cashier or cashiers of the governor and company of the bank of England, the feveral remainders of the fums by them refpectively fubfcribed towards the faid fum of eighteen millions, at or before the respective days and times, and in the proportions herein-after limited and appointed in that behalf; (that is to fay), the further fum of ten pounds per centam on or before the seventeenth day of April one thousand feven hundred and ninety-five; the further fum of ten pounds per centum on or before the twelfth day of June then next following; the further fum of ten pounds per centum on or before the feventeenth day of July then next following; the further fum of fifteen pounds per centum on or before the twenty-eighth day of August then next following; the further fum of fifteen pounds per centum on or before the twenty-third day of October then next following; the further fum of fifteen pounds per centum on or before the twenty-feventh day of November then next following; and the remaining fum of fifteen pounds per centum on or before the fifteenth day of January one thousand feven hundred and ninety-fix.

III. And be it further enacted by the authority aforefaid, That Guardians it fhall and may be lawful for any guardian or truftee having the may fubfcribe for infants. difpofition of the money of any infant, to contribute and pay for or towards advancing the faid fum of eighteen millions to be raifed by annuities in manner aforefaid, and fuch infant, upon the payment of fuch fum or fums fubfcribed by fuch guardian or truftee, fhall become a contributor within the meaning of this act, and be entitled to have and receive the annuities, advantages, and payments in refpect thereof, in fuch and the like manner as any other contributor; and the faid guardian and truftee, as to the faid fum or fums fo advanced, is hereby discharged, fo as the name of fuch infant be expreffed in the receipt or receipts for fuch money.

IV. one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five, fhall be entitled to an allowance of fo much money as the intereft of each fum fo paid in advance, for completing his, her, or their contributions respectively, shall amount unto, after the rate of three pounds pe centum per annum, from the twenty-third day of January on thoufand feven hundred and ninety-five, to the fifteenth day o January one thousand feven hundred and ninety-fix; and tha every contributor paying in the whole of the fums by them fub fcribed as aforefaid, at any time fubfequent to the twentieth da of March one thousand feven hundred and ninety-five, and pre vious to the twenty-feventh day of November one thousand feve hundred and ninety-five, fhall be entitled to an allowance of much money as the intereft of each fum fo paid in advance, fo completing his, her, or their contribution respectively, tha amount unto, after the rate of three pounds per centum per annun from the day of completing the fame, to the fifteenth day of Ja nuary one thousand feven hundred and ninety-fix; which allow ances are to be paid by the faid cafhier or cafhiers, out of the money to be contributed in pursuance of this act, as foon as fuc respective contributors, their executors, adminiftrators, fucceffor and affigns, fhall have completed fuch respective payments.

V. And be it further enacted by the authority aforefaid, Tha the feveral fubfcribers or contributors, their executors, admini ftrators, fucceffors, and affigns, in respect of the faid fum of eigh teen millions, fhall be entitled to an annuity after the rate c three pounds per centum, for every one hundred pounds, by him her, or them refpectively advanced and paid, to commence from the fifth day of January one thousand seven hundred and ninety five, until redemption, by parliament, in manner herein-after men tioned; and fhall alfo be entitled in refpect of every fuch on hundred pounds fo advanced and paid to a further annuity, afte the rate of four pounds per centum in refpect of the additiona principal fum of thirty-three pounds fix fhillings and eight-pence from the tenth day of October one thousand feven hundred and ninety-four, until redemption, by parliament, in manner herein after mentioned; and fhall alfo be entitled, in refpect of every fuch one hundred pounds fo advanced and paid, to a further an nuity of eight fhillings and fixpence, to continue for the term of fixty-five years and three months, from the tenth day of October one thoufand feven hundred and ninety-four, and then to ceafe; which faid refpective annuities, after the rate of three pounds per centum, and of four pounds per centum, and of eigh fhillings and fixpence, fhall be payable and paid half-yearly, by even and equal portions; (that is to fay), the faid annuities after the rate of three pounds per centum, on the fifth day of July and the fifth day of January in every year; and the faid annuities. after the rate of four pounds per centum, on the fifth day of Apri and the tenth day of October in every year; and the faid annuity of eight fhillings and fixpence on the faid fifth day of April and the faid tenth day of October in every year; the first payment upon the laid annuities, after the rate of three pounds per centum

to be due on the fifth day of July one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five; and on the faid annuity, after the rate of four pounds per centum, on the fifth day of April one thoufand feven hundred and ninety-five; on the faid annuity of eight fhillings and fixpence on the faid fifth day of April one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five, but fhall not be payable until the refpective fubfcribers or contributors, their executors, adminiftrators, fucceffors, or affigns, fhall have completed the whole of the fums by them fubfcribed for the purchase of the faid annuities.

VI. Provided always, and be it further enacted by the authority aforefaid, That all and every fuch contributor or contributors, Contributors his, her, or their executors, adminiftrators, and affigns, who paying the whole of their shall have paid into the hands of the said cashier or calhiers the fubfcriptions whole of his, her, or their contribution money, on or before the by the times fecond day of April one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five, herein specifishall be entitled to have and receive on the fifth day of April one titled to the ed, to be enthousand seven hundred and ninety-five, at the bank of England, annuities at the half year's annuity, after the rate of four pounds per centum, certain periand the half year's annuity, after the rate of eight fhillings and ods. fixpence, that fhall become due on the faid fifth day of April one thoufand feven hundred and ninety-five; and that all and every perfon or perfons who shall have completed the whole of his, her, or their faid payment or payments on or before the second day of fuly one thoufand feven hundred and ninety-five, on or before the feventh day of October one thousand feven hundred and ninetyfive, or on or before the fecond day of January one thousand seven hundred and ninety-fix, refpectively, fhall be entitled on the day next enfuing on which any dividend fhall become due by virtue of this act to receive the half year's annuity, after the rate of three pounds per centum, four pounds per centum, or eight fhillings and fixpence, or any of them, which by virtue of this act fhall become due on fuch day refpectively, or fhall have become due at any day preceding, and fhall not have been paid by virtue of this act; and that all and every perfon or perfons who fhall not have completed the whole of their faid payments on or before the faid fecond day of January one thoufand feven hundred and ninetyfix, fhall, on completing the fame within the time in this act prefcribed, be then entitled to receive the whole of one year's annuity on each of the said several annuities by this act granted, or to be granted, from the tenth day of October one thousand feven hundred and ninety-four, and the fifth day of January one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five, refpectively, according to the true intent and meaning of this act.

VII. And be it further enacted, That all the annuities aforefaid hall be payable, and paid, and be transferrable at the bank of Annuities England; and, as to the faid annuities of three pounds per centum, payable at the and of four pounds per centum, shall be subject to such redemption

as is herein-after mentioned.
