17. Since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 1 Cor. xv. 21.

temporal, but the things which are not 2 Cor. iv. 18.

seen are eternal.

25. We know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

APRIL.

1. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do his commandments; his praise endureth for ever. Ps. cxi. 10. 2. Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness. Ps. cxii. 4.

3. The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance. Ps. cxii. 6.

4. Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. Ps. cxvi. 5.

5. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Ps. cxvi. 15.

6. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Ps. cxviii. 8. 7. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. Ps. cxix. 4. 8. Oh that my ways were driected to keep thy statutes. Ps. cxix. 5.

9. Great peace have they which love thy law. Ps. cxix. 165.

10. Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord, that walketh in his ways. Ps. cxxviii. 1.

11. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Ps. cxxxiii. 1.

12. Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly; but the proud he knoweth afar off.

13. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall Ps. cxxxviii. 7.

14. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me thy mercy, oh Lord, endureth for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands. Ps. cxxxviii. 8.

15. There is not a word in my tongue, but, lo! oh Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Ps. cxxxix. 4.

16. Search me, oh God, and know my

heart; try me, and know my thoughts.

17. See if there be

any

wicked way

in

me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

18. Set a watch, oh Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Ps. cxli. 3.

19. Enter not into judgment with thy servant; for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. Ps. cxliii. 2.

20 Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning, for in thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto thee.

21. Teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God; thy spirit is good, lead me into the land of uprightness.

23. The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion, slow to anger, and of great Ps. cxlv. 8.
