Old King Cole

Was a merry old soul,

And a merry old soul was he;

He called for his pipe,

And he called for his bowl,

And he called for his fiddlers three.

Every fiddler he had a fiddle,

And a very fine fiddle had he;

Twee, tweedle dee, tweedle dee,

Went the fiddlers three.

O! there's none so rare as can compare

With King Cole and his fiddlers three.

Taffy was a Welshman, Taffy was a thief;
Taffy came to my house and stole a piece of heef;
I went to Taffy's house, Taffy wasn't home;
Taffy came to my house and stole a marrow-hone.
I went to Taffy's house, Taffy was not in;
Taffy came to my house and stole a silver pin;
I went to Taffy's house, Taffy was in bed,
I took a poker and flung at his head.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall;

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;

And all the King's horses and all the King's men

Can't put Humpty

Dumpty

together
again.

This is the rat,

That ate the malt,

That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the cat,

That kill'd the rat,

That ate the malt,

That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the dog,

That worried the cat,

That kill'd the rat,

That ate the malt,

That lay in the house that Jack built.
