HO Wrote It?"-originally published1

some years ago under the title of

"Where Is It?"-being out of print, a new and enlarged edition is offered to the public.

"Who Wrote It?" differs from other collections of quotations in several ways. It is composed of poetical quotations only, and not of a mixture of poetry and prose. It consists of short quotations from, not favourite passages of various authors, however familiar.

The quotations are arranged alphabetically, and indices to the subjects and principal words

and to the names of the authors quoted are appended.

It is hoped that these few words will be deemed a sufficient justification for the reappearance of "Where Is It?" under a new

name.

LONDON, 1878.
