(A.) For those ONLY who are examined in Book I.

Talia flammato secum dea corde volutans,

Nimborum in patriam, loca feta furentibus Austris,
Aeoliam venit. Hic vasto rex Aeolus antro
Luctantes ventos tempestatesque sonoras
Imperio premit, ac vinclis et carcere frenat.
Illi indignantes magno cum murmure montis
Circum claustra fremunt: celsa sedet Aeolus arce
Sceptra tenens, mollitque animos, et temperat iras.

(B.) For those ONLY who are examined in Book II.

9. Talia vociferans gemitu tectum omne replebat;
Quum subitum dictuque oritur mirabile monstrum.
Namque manus inter maestorumque ora parentum
Ecce levis summo de vertice visus Iuli

Fundere lumen apex, tactuque innoxia molles
Lambere flamma comas, et circum tempora pasci,
Nos pavidi trepidare metu, crinemque flagrantem
Excutere, et sanctos restinguere fontibus ignes.
