THE Dean of Ely having requested me to revise the Third Edition of the Examples to his Course of Mathematics, I have at his suggestion, added a collection of Examples in Conic Sections, and in the first three sections of Newton's Principia, and have also added numerous Examples selected from University and College Examination Papers in the other subjects.
