To the little man's great joy,

She soon had a little boy,

Which made the little man quite glad, glad, glad.

And 'twas the mother's pleasure

To nurse her little treasure,

Which such rapture did impart to his dad, dad, dad.

Now every thing was smiling,

There was nothing like reviling,

While cheerful plenty crowned their labours, labours,

labours.
