I'm a professional illustrator and designer, and I've owned this book for over 30 years. I've referred to it hundreds of times.
i've seen other books on Cruikshank, but none are as well designed or
as comprehensive. Richard A. Vogler and his publisher did a good service to mankind with this work that was inspired equally by scholarship and by connoisseurship.
