Yet it is an honorable distinction to this old Church of the English-speaking people; an event worthy to be reckoned with the noblest in her history-and one that her children will rejoice to remember--that, in an age of many-sided unbelief and scepticism, she was brave to forget the gloomy controversies and the bitter detractions of the past three hundred years and to send forth a message of peace and good-will to all men and women in all the world who love the Lord JESUS Christ in sincerity and keep His word.
