Redirectionalism: Absolute Orthodoxy And The Revelation Of Jesus Christ
What is Redirectionalism? Everyone who is or who ever was a Christian or Jew has expressed Redirectionalism. It is one of the foundational beliefs of faith concerning the coming of Christ to remove our sin and to resurrect believers from the dead. It applies directly to all ages world without end through the finished work of Christ on the cross. (See Genesis 3:15, Acts 23:6, 24:15.) Jews and Gentiles have looked for the end and a resurrection in the same way, as this explains the importance of Paul''''s teaching in Romans 11. Whenever we come to trust in the Messiah, we are redirected into His presence. Redirectionalism crystallizes Futurism into a workable system understanding the Preterist dilemma after A.D. 70. Redirectionalism demonstrates to the Preterist what he has wrongly abandoned in Futurism. Redirectionalism shows the right door to enter into the future, the Way set forth for all time in Jesus Christ and His apostles forever. If you are not a Preterist, it must be said that an understanding of more than the basic tenets of Preterism must first be grasped to rightly appreciate rigid orthodox A.D. 70 concepts. Therefore, this work must start with the evidence for an A.D. 70 view of the Seecond Coming of Christ, and then go on to show how the second coming is vital for our future for us to remain Christians. This leads to clear conclusions regarding eternal principles, time and the meaning of the second coming. This commentary will have great value to the reader as one understands the weight of the arguments for and against Preterism (or Futurism). Such material about Preterism is found herein, yet to gain a proper understanding of the gravity of its arguments, it is necessaryto read "Referenced Works.." These other works will give the proper setting for the reader to clearly understand the present conclusions. The word used to explain our belief and eschatology is "Redirectionalism.." Our interpretation of eschatology rests on Christ''''s coming, as defined by His coming to His Firstfruits. Our conclusions result in an interpretation that salvation is a process for each individual and the church the exact same way it was for those who lived during the generation of Jesus Christ. We understand that we today must live and think just as the apostles and Jesus Christ, if we, too, are to meet Christ. We cannot depart from the sanctification and way of the Firstfruits (2 Cor. 11:4), for if we could, that would then make us unorthodox, and leave us without a claim to orthodoxy. Concerning the Firstfruits (Rev. 14:4), Ephesians 1:10-12 reads: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
