THe book is well written, although, indeed, there are some misspelling and editing issues) but it is very well researched. It is on a very important topic that has not received enough attention scholarly or otherwise. Many people links the holocaust only with the systematic genocide of the Jews. While it is terribly tragic, Jews were not the only group that suffered. So did the Roma (Romaní) and many others both during the WW II, before and ever since.

Pharrajimos: Fate of the Roma during the Holocaust
I would have loved the book, but the scanned book that I purchased is full of technical issues. there are SEVERAL pages in black, which I cannot
read. I have contacted Technical Support, however, they will not give me a deadline on when they will assist me. Sad.

I have not yet read this book. However, I am bothered by their use of the word "Roma" as the inclusive term for Romani people. Roma is a specific sub-group. I have attended a conference led by Romani scholar, Ian Hancock, in Austin, Texas, and I understand that the preferred term is therefore, Romani people and Romani language.
