Ye nations, bow with sacred joy;
He can create aud he destroy.
Made us of clay, and formed us men; And when like wandering sheep we strayed,
He brought us to his fold again. 3 We are his people, we bis care,
Our souls and all our mortal frame: What lasting honors shall we rear,
Almighty Maker, to thy name? 4 We'll crowd thy gates with thankful songs;
High as the heavens our voices raise ; Aud varth, with her ten thousand tongues,
Shall fill thy courts with sounding praise. 5 Wide as the world is thy command,
Vast as eternity thy love ;
When rolling years shall cease to move.
Thy presence now display:
O, give us hearts to pray!
2 Help us with holy fear and joy
To kneel before thy face;
Worship. 1 ALMIGHTY God, while earth and heaven
Thy power and skill proclaim, Wilt thou permit a child to sing
The honor of thy name? 2 The early dawn of opening life
Has proved thy guardian care ; And may I, through my future years,
Thy grace and goodness share. 3 Now may I give myself to thee,
And in thy name confide;
My Father, Friend, and Guide. 45
Worship. 1 When to the house of God we go,
To hear his word and sing his love, To offer praises here below,
With all the saints in heaven above, – 2 Our God is present with us there,
And watches all our thoughts and ways 0, let us humbly join in prayer,
Let us sincerely sing his praise ! 3 O, may we never thoughtless go,
Nor lose the days our God has given !
But learn, by Sabbaths spent below,
To spend eternity in heaven. 46
Rejoice in God.
And let our joys be known:
And thus surround the throne. 2 The sorrows of the mind
Be banished from the place:
To make our pleasures less..
And every tear be dry: We're marching thro' Immanuel's ground
To fairer worlds on high. 47
The Temple. 1 O’ER mountain tops the mount of God
In latter days shall rise Above the summits of the hills,
And draw the wondering eyes. 2 To this the joyful nations round,
All tribes and tongues, shall flow; “Up to the mount of God,” they say,
“And to his house we'll go." 3 The beams that shine from Zion's bill
Shall lighten every land; The King who reigns in Salem's towers Shall the whole world command.

The City of God.
Zion, city of our God!
Formed thee for his own abode. 2 See! the streams of living waters,
Springing froin eternal love,
And all fear of want remove.
Ever flows their thirst tassuage?
Never fails from age to age. 49
Put on thy robes of beauteous hue!
Briglit with the beams of truth divine ! 2 Soon shall thy radiance stream afar,
Wide as the heathen vations are;

And dying sinners pray to live,
And, when thou hearest, О forgive!
2 Here, when thy messengers proclaim
The blessed gospel of thy Son,
Be mighty signs and wonders doué. 3 Hosanna! to their heavenly King,
When children's voices raise that song, Hosanna! let their angels sing,
And heaven with earth the strain prolong. 51
Close of Service.
Which we to thee have given;
To raise our souls to heaven. 2 Still let us hold, till life departs,
The precepts of thy Son;
Forget what he has done.
From all corruption free,
Our powers, our wills, to thee. 52
Close of Service.
Wide o'er all nature spreads abroad:
In every place thy children keep. 2 To thee we all our ways commit,
And seek our comforts near thy feet;
