"KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

REV. xix. 16.

ALL hail the power of Jesus' name!

Α

Let angels prostrate fall;

Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown him Lord of all.

2 Ye chosen seed of Israel's race,
A remnant weak and small!
Hail him who saves you by his grace,
And crown him Lord of all,

3 Ye Gentile sinners, ne'er forget
The wormwood and the gall;
Go, spread your trophies at his feet,
And crown him Lord of all.

4 May we with heaven's rejoicing throng Before his presence fall,

Join in the everlasting song,
And crown him Lord of all!

"Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many."

HEB. ix. 28.

I lay my sins on Jesus,

The spotless Lamb of God;
He bears them all, and frees us
From the accursed load.

I bring my guilt to Jesus,
To wash my crimson stains
White, in his blood most precious,
Till not a spot remains.

2 I lay my wants on Jesus;
All fulness dwells in him;
He heals all my diseases,
He doth my soul redeem.
I lay my griefs on Jesus,
My burdens and my cares;
He from them all releases,

He all my sorrow shares.

3 I rest my soul on Jesus,
This weary soul of mine;
His right hand me embraces,
I on his breast recline.
I love the name of Jesus,

Immanuel, Christ, the Lord;
Like fragrance on the breezes
His name abroad is poured.

4 I long to be like Jesus,
Meek, loving, lowly, mild;
I long to be like Jesus,
The Father's holy child.
I long to be with Jesus,
Amid the heavenly throng,
To sing with saints his praises,
To learn the angels' song.

"I know that my Redeemer liveth." JOB Xix. 25.

KNOW that my Redeemer lives:

What comfort this sweet sentence
gives!

He lives, he lives, who once was dead,
He lives, my ever living head.

2 He lives to bless me with his love,
He lives to plead for me above,
He lives my hungry soul to feed,
He lives to help in time of need.

3 He lives to silence all my fears,
He lives to wipe away my tears,
He lives to calm my troubled heart,
He lives, all blessings to impart.

4 He lives, all glory to his name!
He lives, my Jesus, still the same;
O the sweet joy this sentence gives,
I know that my Redeemer lives!

"Whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." MATT. X. 33.

ESUS! and can it ever be,

JES

A mortal man ashamed of thee?
Ashamed of thee, whom angels praise,
Whose glories shine through endless
days!

2 Ashamed of Jesus! sooner far
Let evening blush to own a star;
He sheds the beams of light divine
O'er this benighted soul of mine.

3 Ashamed of Jesus! that dear friend
On whom my hopes of heaven depend?
No; when I blush, be this my shame,
That I no more revere his name.

4 Ashamed of Jesus! Yes, I may,
When I've no guilt to wash away,
No tear to wipe, no good to crave,
No fears to hush, no soul to save.

5 Till then-nor is my boasting vain-
Till then I boast a Saviour slain!
And O may this my glory be,
Jesus is not ashamed of me!

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?"

ROMANS viii. 35.

HAIL! my ever blessed Jesus,

Only thee I wish to sing;

To my soul thy name is precious,
Thou my Prophet, Priest, and King.

20 what mercy flows from heaven!
O what joy and happiness!
Love I much? I'm much forgiven ;
I'm a miracle of grace.

3 Once with Adam's race in ruin,
Unconcerned in sin I lay;

Swift destruction still pursuing,
Till my Saviour passed that way.

4 Witness, all ye hosts of heaven,
My Redeemer's tenderness;
Love I much? I'm much forgiven;
I'm a miracle of grace.

5 Shout, ye bright angelic choir,

Praise the Lamb enthroned above,
Whilst, astonished, I admire

God's free grace and boundless love.

6 That blessed moment I received him
Filled my soul with joy and peace:
Love I much? I'm much forgiven;
I'm a miracle of grace.
