COMMUNITY MENTAL RETARDATION FACILITIES (CCP)

New Facilities Purpose

The appropriation made by chapter 54, section 1, of the laws of 1984, as amended by chapter 257, section 18, of the laws of 1984, is hereby amended and reappropriated to read: State aid to municipalities and other public and not-for-profit private agencies for acquisition of property, construction and rehabilitation of community mental retardation facilities, pursuant to article 41 of the Mental Hygiene Law. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 41.27 of such law and any other inconsistent provision of law, the moneys hereby appropriated may be available for payment state aid heretofore accrued or hereafter to accrue in accordance with the schedule below. No expenditure shall be made on this appropriation until a spending plan for proposed projects has been submitted by the commissioner of the office of mental retardation and developmental disabilities and approved by the director of the budget. Such plan shall be filed with the state comptroller, the chairman of the senate finance committee and the chairman of the assembly ways and means committee. The appropriation is based upon the total estimated State share for capital costs of projects (51088407) ...(re. $9,775,000)
