Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the fepulchre, and feeth the linen clothes lie, and the napkin that was about his head not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. Then went in also that other disciple which came first to the sepulchre, and he faw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he mult rise again from the dead. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? And they rose up the fame hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, saying, The Lord is riseu indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. And they told what things were done in the way, and liow he was known of them in breaking of bread.
