THIS

HIS is not a book hard to be understood,

but one which a child, being a Christian, may easily read. I have called it The Prophet of Glory, because the prophet, in almost every page of his prophecy, is bright with the majesty and beauty of the coming Messiah. Some of the grandest lineaments of His person and glory are unveiled to us here. He has come, and He will come, is plainly seen. He has come as Saviour, in humiliation, to die; He will come, as King in His glory, to reign-events so plainly stated, that the man who runs may read.

The several subjects are arranged in the order in which they appear in the prophecy, which begins with predictions of the coming glory, then goes on to what has since occurred, the humiliation and
