૧૨ એંમ શનજીને ઇહોન જેહેની અટક નારક તેની ના ભરીઅ નના ઘર પાશે તે આમવા નહીં ઘણા એકઠા થઇને પરાથના કર તા હતા

13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

૧૩ ને પીતર આગલું બારણું ઠોકતા હુતા તાહારે રોદા નાંને એક જુન ખાએડી શાંભલવા આવી

14 And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

૧૪ ને તેણે પીતરના ઘાંટો

લખીને આનંદને લીધે બારણું ઊ ઘાડું નહીં પણ નહે દોડીને કહું કે પીતર બારણા આગલ ઊભો રહેછે

15 And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.

૧૫ ને તેઓએ તેને કહું કે હું ઘેલી છે પણ તેણે નીશચેથી કહ્યું કે અમજ છું તાારે તેમાએ કહું કે તે તેના દ્રુત તના હોશં 16 But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished. ૧૬ પીતર તા ઢાકાં કરતા હુતા તાારે તે [બારણું] ઊંઘાડી ને તેણેને બ્લેઇને અચરત પાઁના

17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.

૧૭ પણુ ચુપ રહેવા શારૂ તેણે તેઓને હાથે ઇશારો કીધો ને જે રીતે પરભુ તેણેને કેરખાંનામાંથી બાહાર લાએવા તે વીગતવાર તે

ને કણ દેખાડું ને અઁન કહું કે એ ખબર ઈઆકુબને તથા બીજા ભાઇને પાોંચાડો પછી તે નીકલીને બીજી જગેમાં ગઓ

18 Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.

૧૮ ને દાહાડો ઊગો તારે શીપાઈઓમાં ઘણી ગડબડ થઇ કે ૐ પીતર કાઁહીં બ

19 And when Herod had sought for lim, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judea to Cesarea, and there abode.

૧૯ ને હેરોદે તેહુને શોધો પણ ન પામીને ચોકીદારોની તજવીજ કરીને તેઓને] નારી નખાવવાનો હુકન કીધો પછી પોતે ઇહુદાથી કાઈશારીમાં જઇરહો

20 ¶ And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country.

૨૦ ને શાર તથા શીદેનના લોક પર હેરોદ લડવાને આવેશી થ આ પણ તેઓએ એકચીતે તેહેની પાશે આવીને રાબ્તના રંગમેહુલ ના ઊપરી ખલાશતશને પોતાની ગમ કરીને શલાહુ ભાગી કેમકે તેના દેશ રાાના દેશથી પોશણ પાંખતા હતા

21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. ૨૧ પછી એક ઠરાવેલે દાહાડે હેરોદે રાજપોશાક પેહેરીને તથા શ્વાશણ પર બેશીને તેની આગલ નાટાઇની વાત કીધી 22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.

૨૨ તારે લાંકાએ મુનષાડી કે આ ઘાંટો દેવનાજ [છે] ભાણ શના નથી

23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smòte him because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

૨૩ ને તેણે દેવને નીના એ। ની માટે પરભુના દુતે તુ રત તેહુને મારો ને કીડાએ તેને ખાધો ને તે નીગ

24 [ But the word of God grew and multiplied. ૨૪ પશુ દેવની વાત વધીને ફેલીગઇ

25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.

૨૫ ને બારણુબા તથા શાઊલ તે દાન શેવા પુરી કરીને ઇહોન ગેની અટક નારક તેને શાથે લઈને ઈરૂશાલેમથી પાછા આગેવા

1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

૧ તાહારે અંતીખનાંની ભેંડલીનાં કેટલાએક ભવીશ કેહેનાર તથા ઊપદેશ કરનાર હુતા એટલે બારણુબા તથા શીમેન જે નીગેર કહેવાએછે તથા લુકીઅશ કરેની તથા નાનાએન જેહેનું પાલ ણુ ચેાથાઇદાર હેટની સાથે [થીઁ] તથા શાઊલ

2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Ho. ly Ghost said, Seperate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

૨ ને તે પરભુને શેલતા તથા અપવાશ કરતા હુતા તાારે પીતર આતનાએ કહું કે બારણુબાને તથા શાઊલને જે કાઁનને લીધું ને તેડાછું તે શારૂ તને તેને નાહારે કાજે છુટા કરો

3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

૩ તાારે એએએ અપવાશ તથા પરારથના કરીને તથા તેઓ પર હાથ મુકીને તેઓને બીદાએ કીધા

4 | So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

૪ તેમાટે તેઓ પવીતર આતનાથી મોકલેલા થઈને શૈલુકીમાં ગઆ પછી તાંહાંથી હાડીએ કુપરશનાઁ ગઆ

5 And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

૫ ને શાલામીમાં છતાં તેઓએ ઇહુદીઓની શભાઓમાં દેવ ની વાત પરગટ કીધી ને ઇહાન પણ તેઓનો શેવક હુતો

6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus:

૬ તાહારે તેઓ તે બેટનાં પાશ શુધી બધું ગઆ તાહાઁ તેઓ એ એક જાદુગર જુઠા ભવીશ કહેનાર ઇહુદીને દીઠો તેનું નાઁન બાર ઈશ્યુ *

7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

૭ તે તાંહાંના શરદાર શરજીઅશ પાઊલશ શનજીક નાંણુશની શાથે હુતો એણે બારણખાને તથા શાઊલને બોલાવીને દેવની વાત શાંભલવા ચાહી

8 But Elymus the sorcerer, (for so is his name by interpretation,) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

૮ પણ એલની એટલે જેડ઼ેના નાંમના અરથ નદુગર છે તેણે તે શરદારને વીશવાશથી ફેરવવાનું ચાહીને તેઓને અટકાએવા

9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

૮ તાહારે શાઊલ જે પાઊલ પણ [કેહેવાએછે] તેણે પવીતર મતનાએ ભરપુર છતાં તે પર ધારીને કહું

10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all misclhief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

૧૦ કે આ શઘલે કટે તથા શહ્યલી કમુધીએ ભરેલા શેતાનના દીકરા ઘલા શાચાપણાના શતરૂ શું તું પરભુના પાધરા ભારગ વાંકા કરવાનું નહીં નુકીદઈશું*

11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

૧૧ પણ હવે ને પરભુના હાથ તાહાર ઊલટો [છે] ને તું કેટલા એક દાહાડા સુધી શુરજ ન દેખનાર આંધલા થઇશ તાહારે એકા એક ધુમ્મર તથા અંધકાર તે પર પડો ને હાથ પકડીને લઈ જનાર કાઈને તે શોધતા કા

12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord. ૧ર તારે જે થીં તે તે પર શરદારે પરભુના ઊપદેશથી બહુ અચરત પાઁનીને વીશવાશ કીધો

13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

૧૩ પછી પાઊલ તથા તેના શાથી પાર્શ્વથી હોડી નીકલીને પા નપુલીનાઁના પેગેનાં આએવા તારે ઇહોન તેઓને મુકીને ઇર્ શાલેમમાં પાછો ગ
