૨ તાારે હુને આદરાનુતીના એક વાહણ પર ચડીને આશી આાના કાંઠાની કેટલીએક જંગેની પાંશથી જવાનું ચાીને નીકલા માકેટે નાનાંના શશાલાનીકેના આરીશતારખશ પણ હમારી સાથે હતા

3 And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

૩ ને બીજે દાહડે હુને શીનમાં પહોંચા તાારે ઇઊલીઅશે પાઊલ પર નાંણુશળતી પરના પરેમથી વહીવટ કરતાં તેણેને મીતાની પાશે જઈને આરામ પાઁભવા દીધો

4 And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.

૪ પછી તાંહાંથી નીકલા પર પવન નેહા પરના હુતા માટે હને કુપરશની તલે હુંકારીને ગ

5 And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia.

૫ ને કીલકીના તથા પાનપુલીના દીચ્ય પરથી હંકારીને હુને લુકીમાંના નુરાનાં પાùોંચા

6 And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.

હું ને તાંહાઁ ઝુબેદારે આલેકશÎદીનું એક વાઁહીંણુ ઈંતાલીનાં હુંકારીજનાર દીઠું તાહારે હનને તે પર ચહડાએવા

7 And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suf fering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone;

૭ પશુ હને કેટલાએક દાણાડા સુધી ધીને ચાલા પર પવન હમને અટકાવતો હતો માટે કનીશની શાઁાઁનાં પુરા પાડ઼ોંચા નાહાતા તાહારે શાલનાનેની શાહીંનાં હૂંકારીને કરેતીની તલે થી ગ

8 And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called, The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea.

૮ ને સુશકીલીથી તેહેને વટાવીને એક જંગેનાં આએવા જે શારૂં બંદર કહેવાએછું જહુની પાશે લાશાઇ શેહેર હુ

9 Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them

૮ ને ઘણા વખત વીતીગઓ ને વાંહાંણે જવાનું વીશ્વનકારી હતું કેમકે એટલામાં અપવાશના દાણાડા થઇ ચુકા તાહાર પા ઊલે તેઓને ચેતાવતાં કહું

10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.

૧૦ કે આ નાણુશો હું નૈઊંઊં કે એ શરનાં હાઁની તથા ઘણું નુકશાન એકલા માલનું તથા વાહનું નહીં પણ આપણા જીવો નું થશે

11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

૧૧ પશુ પાઊલે જે જે કહું તે કરતાં ટંડેલ પર તથા વાંહણ ધણી પર ઝુબેદારે વહુતા ભરોશા કીધો

12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west.

૧૨ નતે બંદર શીઆલાનાં રહેવા લાએક નોંહારૂં માટે ઘણાએ નનો આએપો કે તહાંથી નીકલીનએ ને કોઈ તરહુથી બ્ને થઈ

શકે તો પુીનીક લગી પાહેોંચીને [તાંહીં] શીઆલા કાપે તે તેા કરેતી નું એક બંદર જેનું નોહા નઇરત દીશાએ તથા વાએબ દીશા છે

13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.

૧૩ ને રખશત્રુનો પવન થોડા ચાલે તાહારે ઇછા પરમાણે તે પાંના ઐન ધારતાં હંકારીને કરેતીની પાશેજ ગ

14 But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.

૧૪ પણ થોડીવાર પછે તેહેને ઊલટો તાણની પવન થ જે ઈ ઊરકલુંદેાન કહેવાએછું

15 And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.

૧૫ ને વાંહાંણ અટકાવાઊં ને પવનની શાઁાઁાઁ ઠરી ન શકું તા હારે હુને તેડુંને હૂડશેલાઈ જવાદી

16 And running under a certain island which is call. ed Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:

૧૬ ને કલાઊદી કહેવાએલા એક બેટની તલે દોડા પર ભવો રાખવાને મેહનતથી હને શનરથ થ

17 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.

૧૭ તે ઊંચકી લીધા પર તેઓએ વાહાણુની તકે બચાવવાના બંધ બાંધા ને રેતીમાં શવાની બીક રાખતાં શક ઊતારીને અઁન હુડશેલાઇ ગઆ

18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship.

૧૮ ને હુમને બહુ તોાન લાગતાં લાગતાં બીજે દાાડે તેઓ એ વાનન કીધું

19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.

૧૯ ને તીદાહાઙેહને પોતાને હાથે વાંહાંણુના શાનાન બાહાર કી દીધા

20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.

૨૦ ને બહુ દાણાડા સુધી શુરજ તથા તારા દેખા નીઁ ને બહુ તાાન લાગતાં લાગતાં અંતે હમારે બચવાની શરવ ઊનેટ હુરાઈ

21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.

૨૧ પણ ઘણી લાંઘણા થઆ પર પાઊલ તેની વચમાં ઊભા રહીને બાલા કે એ નાણુશા તમને નાહારા બાધ શાંભલવા ને કરેતીથી ન નીકલવું ઘટારગ હુતું ખરૂં એટલે આ દુખ તથા નુક

શાન ચુકવાત *

22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.

૨૨ પણ હવે તને ખાતરજને થાઓ ના હું તમને બોધ કરૂં ઘઊં કેમકે તમારામાંના કોઈના જીવનું નુકશાન નહીં પણુ એકલા બાંહાંણનું થશે

23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve.

૨૩ કેમકે જે દેવનો હું છુઊં ને તેની શેવા હું કરૂંછુ તેના દુતે રાતરે ભાહારી પાશે ઊભા રહીને કહું

24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Cesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

૨૪ કે ઓ પાઊલ બીી નો કાઇશારની પાશે ઊભા રહેવાની તાારે જરૂર છે ને તે વાંહાંણુમાં જે શરવ તાહારી શાથે ાએછે તેને કીરપાથી દેવે તને આએપાછું

25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

૨૫ તેમાટે માંણુશા ખાતરજને થાઓ કેમકે હું દેવ પર વીશવાશ કઘઊં કે જૈન મને કહ્યુંછે તેમજ થશે

26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island. ૨૬ પણ આપણે એક બેટમાં પડવું લાગેછે

27 But when the fourteenth nigh was oome, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;

૨૭ ને ઊદની રાત આએવા પર હુને હાદીઓમાં ન ૐન હુડશેલાતા હુતા તાહારે અડધી રાતને આશરે ખલાશીઆઓ એ ધારૂં કે તેઓ કેાઈ દેશની પાશે પાણેઊંચા

28 And sounded, and found it tweenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms.

૨૮ તાહારે મુડદ નાઁખીને વીશ વાઁન પાઁણી પાઁના ને થોડે આ ગલ જઈને ફરી નાંખીને પંદર વાંભ પાઁના

29 Then fearing lest they should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.

૨૮ તાહાર રખે પથરની જંગે પર અણ્ણાએ એ બીીકથી તેઓ એ ડખુશાથી ચાર લંગર નાંખીને શહવાર થવાનું ચાહું

30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship.
