What people are saying - Write a reviewUser Review - Flag as inappropriate Unfortunately Devor;s treatment in Gender Blending says much much more about his own experience and life trajectory as an FtM transsexual than it does about the happily-female butch dykes he profiles in his book. Devor's thesis that butch dykes really want to be men is flat wrong, and obscures rather than illuminates the lives of the people he interviewed and profiled. Review: FTM: Female-to-Male Transsexuals in SocietyUser Review - GoodreadsOne of the first to treat the subject. Pure Sociology, but nonetheless very insightful and groundbreaking. Related books
