About the author (2000)

Geoffrey R. Stone is the Edward H. Levi Distinguished Service Professor in the Law Schoool at the University of Chicago. From 1987 to 1993 he served as dean of the Law School, and from 1993 to 2002 he served as provost of the University of Chicago. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Fellow of the American Philosophical Society, and a member of the American Law Institute.

Louis Michael Seidman is Carmack Waterhouse Professor of Constitutional Law at Georgetown University Law Center. He is the author of Our Unsettled Constitution: A New Defense of Constitutionalism and Judicial Review and coauthor of Constitutional Law.

Cass Sunstein is one of the nation's leading legal scholars who, for the past fifteen years, has been at the forefront of behavioral economics. From 2009 to 2012, he served as the administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. He is the Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. His book, "Nudge", coauthored with Richard Thaler, was a national bestseller.
