This position is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil or Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The area: gTech (general)

The Google Technical Services (gTech) team serves as the primary point of contact for our global Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams to support our sales organization across all products. We provide tools so that our sales teams can focus on generating revenue and leverage our strong relationships with Googles Tech teams to enable our sales organization to do multi-solution selling, launch and support new products, and help and engage our users.

The role: Technical Account Manager, DoubleClick for Advertisers

Inspire companies to "go Google." The Enterprise team at Google brings the power of cloud computing to small and large businesses, educational institutions and government agencies. As a Technical Account Manager, you are responsible for providing technical solutions and managing relationships with Google's largest and most strategic online publishers. As a liaison between your clients and our technical staff, you flawlessly lead deployments, implementations and integrations of a variety of our product lines (such as Search, Mobile, Video and Commerce). From monitoring product performance to debugging and troubleshooting product code, you are the resident expert that addresses partner needs, helping to increase revenue and drive new business opportunities. You are a technical expert with an entrepreneurial drive and passion for client management.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope and collect customer requirements, provide guidance on best practices and applying technology and product knowledge to address customer's business and technology needs
  • Oversee implementation projects through the complete life-cycle including scoping, planning, execution, implementation/roll-out, and close.
  • Act as point of contact to provide consultative technical support and strategic relationship management to top online agencies and advertisers
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales and Engineering to drive customer communications, feature prioritization, and technical issue resolution, resulting in the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Design and implement client training programs onsite and webinars for our display advertising product, DoubleClick for Advertisers

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
  • 2 years experience working in a client-facing capacity.
  • Knowledge of SQL, HTML, and JavaScript or prior experience troubleshooting technical issues.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Search industry experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and understand programming code (this is not a programming position).
